Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center announced the appointment of Gaurav D Desai as its new Director of Sales. The luxury five-star property strengthens its leadership team, by including an industry veteran with more than 12 years of experience across renowned hospitality brands in India.
In his new role at Sheraton Grand Whitefield Hotel, Gaurav will be leading the hotel in achieving its key revenue budget, spearheading business growth activities, and will overlook all aspects of the sales and the marketing department. He will also work towards improving the exposure of the food & beverage staff and contribute to the hotel’s marketing goals by working closely with them. Prior to joining Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center, Gaurav worked as the Account Director – National Sales at Marriott Hotels India Pvt. Ltd. He has developed excellent talents in leading varied teams throughout the years and has emerged as a strong advocate for attaining success in sales and marketing. His dedication to perfection assures that the hotel will prosper under his direction, creating excellent guest experiences and exceeding expectations in the competitive hospitality sector.
