ITC Kohenur Celebrates World Environment Day with Sustainable Initiatives

ITC Kohenur demonstrated its commitment to sustainability through a series of impactful activities. The hotel engineering team led the charge by producing 550 kgs of compost using the on-site Organic Waste Converter (OWC) machine. This compost was generously donated to a local farmland to support sugarcane cultivation.

In addition, the hotel inaugurated a new EV charging station, furthering its dedication to eco-friendly practices. “The EV charging station is a significant step towards reducing our carbon footprint and promoting sustainable transportation,” said Chief Engineer, Sunil Upadhyay.

Guests and associates participated in various activities, including a beneficial earth walk, seed bomb distribution, and sapling distribution. Associates enjoyed a healthy green lunch emphasizing health and well-being

Guests at the hotel were treated to local delicacies at a Golconda Pavilion dinner Buffet, with a beautiful set up depicting world Environment Day.
