The Access Group Acquires STAAH, Launches APAC Hospitality Division

In a strategic move to strengthen its presence in the Asia-Pacific region, The Access Group has announced the acquisition of STAAH, a leading distribution technology provider. Known for its ability to connect accommodation providers with over 500 online travel agents (OTAs) and technology partners, STAAH helps businesses maximize visibility, optimize revenue, and streamline booking processes.

This acquisition also marks the launch of Access Hospitality’s new APAC division, bolstering its global hospitality portfolio, which includes SHR’s Central Reservation System (CRS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.

STAAH brings two flagship products under The Access Group’s umbrella:
MAX: Designed for premium hotels, including 4/5-star properties, upscale independents, and regional chains, MAX operates across Southeast Asia, India, ANZ, Europe, and North America.
SU: Geared towards the economy and mid-market segment, SU is integrated into Property Management Systems (PMS) and has a global presence in the same regions.

Louise Daley, General Manager of Access Hospitality APAC, expressed optimism about the acquisition’s impact, “This acquisition is a transformative milestone for Access Hospitality and underscores our commitment to the APAC region. By bringing together the strengths of STAAH and SHR, we’re creating an unparalleled solution that empowers hotels to connect, engage, and grow. We’re thrilled about the opportunities this partnership will bring to our customers.”

The move positions The Access Group as a key player in providing integrated, end-to-end solutions for the hospitality sector, enhancing connectivity, guest engagement, and revenue optimization globally.
