Polo Hotels &Resorts has announced the signing of Polo Hotel Aizawl, marking its entry into Mizoram and expanding its presence across Northeast India. The project, developed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model in collaboration with the Government of Mizoram, will redevelop the Chaltlang Tourist Lodge into the state’s first 5-star hotel.
The upcoming property will feature premium dining venues, a lounge, a pool area, expansive banquet and meeting facilities, afitness centre, and a swimming pool. The development is expected to strengthen Aizawl’s hospitality infrastructure while supporting tourism, employment, and economic growth in the state.
With this signing, Polo Hotels Group’s portfolio grows to 16 hotels, including seven under development, reinforcing its position as the Northeast’s largest homegrown hospitality company with operations across multiple Indian states.
