Minor Hotels has announced its entry into India with the Avani+ Sunray Beach Visakhapatnam Resort, a premium resort and branded residential development along Sunray Beach in Visakhapatnam. The project, featuring 117 hotel rooms, 58 residential villas, and world-class amenities, marks a significant milestone in Minor Hotels’ plan to open 50 properties in India over the next decade.
Scheduled for completion by 2028, the 25.5-acre property near the upcoming Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport will offer diverse dining options, a nine-hole golf course, an AvaniSpa, and facilities for leisure and MICE events. Developed by Sunray Green Space Pvt Ltd, the resort aims to cater to Visakhapatnam’s growing business and tourism sectors.
