Sterling Holiday Resorts has launched Sterling GK Exotica, a 36-key premium boutique hotel located on Saharanpur Road in the heart of Dehradun. This marks the brand’s ninth property in Uttarakhand and its second in the city, reinforcing Sterling’s focus on India’s growing business-leisure (bleisure) segment.
Strategically situated just five hours from Delhi NCR and six from Chandigarh, the hotel offers easy access to key hubs like Haridwar, Roorkee, and Saharanpur. Guests enjoy panoramic views of the Shivalik range and can choose from four room categories, including Executive Suites with dual washrooms and skyline views.
Crowning the hotel is Skyline, Dehradun’s highest rooftop restaurant and bar, offering Himalayan-inspired cuisine and sunset cocktails. For events, Summit (a rooftop banquet) and Mirage (a pillarless indoor venue) cater to up to 150 guests, ideal for corporate events and social gatherings.
Vikram Lalvani, MD & CEO of Sterling, said the hotel strengthens Sterling’s position in the Himalayan circuit and Dehradun’s evolving knowledge and tourism economy.
Aman Bagga of Global Hospitality, the hotel’s owner, noted that Sterling’s strong distribution and Uttarakhand roadmap make GK Exotica a compelling destination for both boardroom strategists and weekend travellers.
