Accor’s Grand Mercure in Agra set to be operational in September 2023

Move aimed at strengthening the group’s presence in India’s Golden Triangle

Accor Group is all set to introduce its first Grand Mercure property in Agra. The new property is strategically located in Fatehabad, a short drive away from the famous Taj Mahal, ensuring a remarkable and memorable stay for guests. 

Scheduled for a grand opening in September 2023, the Grand Mercure Agra will boast 168 meticulously designed rooms. The culinary offerings of the hotel encompass a multi-cuisine, all-day dining restaurant, an elegant bar, and an alfresco terrace restaurant, which will provide a delightful blend of exquisite cuisine and stunning city vistas. 

The hotel will further offer a meeting space of 300 square meters, equipped with the latest technology, alongside amenities including a state-of-the-art fitness centre, a rejuvenating spa, and a swimming pool.  

The project is owned by Laxman Das Goyal, who operates diverse business ventures in glass manufacturing, real estate, and hospitality. He already operates two properties in Agra, a testament to his active involvement in the hospitality sector.
