Barbeque Nation hosts Makar Sankranti and Pongal Food Festival

To celebrate Makar Sankranti and Pongal, Barbeque Nation is rolling out a food festival. The Makar Sankranti food festival will commence on 14th January 2023, and run till 22nd January, 2023. The food fest will offer a delicious spread of traditionally-crafted dishes, diverse flavours, and specialty cuisines from Karnataka.

The restaurant will be adorned with Makar Sankranti/Pongal themed décor, with traditional South Indian music played in the background. The staff will be dressed in traditional South Indian attire.

The special Makar Sankranti/Pongal menu will comprise Vegetarian & Non-Vegetarian delicacies. Guests will get to enjoy delectable Veg Starters ― Curry Patta Kalan (Mushroom), Keppai Vadai, Parappu Vadai, as well as Non-Veg Starters ― Punjabi Tangadi, Coastal BBQ Fish, Ghee Roast Prawns, Kothmiri Chicken. The elaborate main course of Vegetarian dishes includes Kai Curry Parthal, Vendakkai Thair Curry, Pumpkin Kozhambu, Gur ke Chawal, Surson Ka Saag aur Makki di Roti, and Non-Vegetarian dishes will include ― Kerala Fish Curry, Chettinad Egg Curry, and Chicken Dum Biryani. There will also be a Live Counter for Puran Poli, Onion Ring Bhajiya, Mirchi Bhajiya, Raw Banana Bhajiya and a special soup ― Tomato Rasam. Guests will also get to enjoy freshly-prepared desserts, including Sarkarai Pongal, Ada Pradhaman Payasam, Til Gur Ke Laddu, Pineapple Rava Kesari and Peanut Jaggery Candy.

Makar Sankranti/Pongal Food Festival special menu will be available at the various Barbeque Nation’s outlets of Bangalore, Mangalore, Mysore, Hubli, Udupi (Manipal), and Belgaum as well as across all outlets of Tamil Nadu.
