Celebrity Chef Akshat Parihar Reimagines Chhupa Rustam with North Indian Fusion Flavors

The Starshine Group has announced the grand revamp of Chhupa Rustam Goa, now rebranded as Chhupa Rustam 2.0. This culinary renaissance is spearheaded by the acclaimed celebrity chef, Akshat Parihar, who brings a fresh and innovative approach to the table.

Previously renowned for its authentic Old Delhi style cuisine, Chhupa Rustam 2.0 has broadened its horizons to offer an expansive North Indian culinary experience. The new menu boasts signature dishes handpicked from various northern states, providing a delectable journey through India’s rich gastronomic heritage. Highlights include Laal Maas from Rajasthan, a robust and flavorful dish, and the newly discovered Jackfruit Kulcha, which promises to be a vegetarian delight.

Chef Akshat Parihar has meticulously curated a selection of classic North Indian dishes while also exploring new culinary creations. “At Chhupa Rustam 2.0, our vision is to merge the rich, diverse flavors of North India with the fresh, vibrant ingredients of Goa, staying true to traditional roots while embracing innovation,” says Brand Chef Akshat Parihar at Starshine Group.

The revamped menu features an exciting blend of traditional and contemporary dishes. Guests can savor the exquisite Butter Crab, a perfect example of the fusion concept, where the richness of North Indian spices meets the freshness of Goan seafood. Additionally, the beverage menu has been revitalized with unique concoctions such as Sharbat-e-Khas and a modern twist on sugarcane juice infused with vodka, ensuring a refreshing and memorable dining experience.

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a complimentary refreshing drink: jeera infused with a hint of mint and indulged with a dash of chili and roasted cumin, giving a refreshing touch with a citrus lime flavor. Dessert lovers will be delighted to find the beloved classic crisp jalebis, now served with a choice of milk or kesar rabri, offering a sweet end to the culinary journey.

Chhupa Rustam 2.0 aims to showcase the best of North Indian cuisine, extending beyond the confines of Old Delhi to include diverse flavors from across the region. The commitment to quality is evident in the use of local and fresh ingredients from Goa, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that are both authentic and innovative.

In response to the growing demand for high-quality, accessible dining options, the Starshine Group has announced plans to expand Chhupa Rustam 2.0 to other cities, bringing this unique culinary experience to a wider audience.
