CHANDON Australia has launched Fondue + Bingo, a seasonal experiential dining concept at its Yarra Valley winery, blending food, sparkling wine and interactive entertainment to drive winter visitation.
Running until August 31, the 90-minute experience combines a shared cheese fondue menu with three CHANDON sparkling wine pairings and a self-guided bingo game, reflecting the growing trend of immersive food and beverage offerings in winery hospitality.
Curated by Executive Chef Josh Smyth, the menu features Swiss raclette and Victorian Long Paddock cheese fondue finished with CHANDON sparkling wine, accompanied by locally sourced seasonal produce. The experience concludes with a S’more-inspired chocolate tartlet.
Guests also receive custom bingo cards and a tabletop spinner, with the winner earning a CHANDON Cellar Door voucher, adding an interactive element to the tasting journey.
Available for groups of two to 10 guests, the initiative underscores how wine tourism destinations are increasingly using experiential programming to extend visitor engagement beyond traditional tastings and strengthen off-season demand.
