Indian Hotels Company Limited has signed a new Tree of Life Resort Kamshet in Maharashtra, strengthening its presence in the fast-growing Kamshet–Lonavala–Pawna leisure corridor.
Focus on drive-to leisure destinations
The 30-key resort, being developed in partnership with Kalyan Borade, will undergo renovation and expansion, with inventory set to double as part of the repositioning plan. The project aligns with IHCL’s strategy of expanding experiential and boutique stays across emerging leisure destinations within driving distance from Mumbai and Pune.
Experience-led hospitality offering
Set amid the Sahyadri hills, the resort will feature an all-day dining restaurant and bar, swimming pool, outdoor nature spa, glasshouse event venue, amphitheatre, and landscaped lawns catering to weddings, retreats, and corporate gatherings. Curated experiences such as organic farming, wine and jam making, and bespoke lakeside dining are also part of the offering.
Growing demand in the Kamshet corridor
The signing reflects rising demand for nature-led hospitality experiences in the Western Ghats region, which continues to attract leisure travellers, adventure tourists, and social events due to its accessibility and scenic positioning.
