IHG Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading hotel companies, has announced the signing of Holiday Inn Siliguri in partnership with Four Vedas Hotels & Resorts Private Limited—a joint venture between Kaysons Group, Sagar Group, and Golden Goenka Group. The 111-key property, slated to open in 2027, will bring world-class hospitality to the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas, catering to the region’s rising business, MICE, and leisure demand.
Strategically located in Siliguri’s city centre, the hotel will serve as a hub for domestic and international travellers. Siliguri, a key commercial gateway to North-East India, also acts as a vital trade corridor with Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh—making it an increasingly important destination for cross-border commerce, logistics, and tourism.
Holiday Inn Siliguri will feature 111 modern guest rooms, three dining options, two versatile meeting spaces, and a fitness centre. Guests will also experience the brand’s signature Open Lobby concept, designed as a flexible social space to relax, work, and connect.
Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said:
“We are delighted to bring Holiday Inn to Siliguri, a market with strong growth potential across trade, MICE, and tourism. With IHG’s trusted hospitality, modern design, and versatile offerings, the hotel will play a pivotal role in strengthening our mainstream portfolio in India.”
Speaking on behalf of Four Vedas Hotels & Resorts Pvt. Ltd., Pradip Agarwal (Kaysons Group), Anil Goyal (Sagar Group), and Girdhari Lal Goenka (Golden Goenka Group) shared in a joint statement:
“Partnering with IHG to launch Holiday Inn Siliguri marks a milestone for the city’s hospitality landscape. Together, we will set new benchmarks of comfort and service for travellers in the region.”
