Nagpur’s hospitality sector is poised for a significant transformation with an investment of INR 1,800 crore planned over the next three years. Several leading hotel brands are entering the city, which is expected to drive growth in tourism and business travel while boosting the local economy.
Among the major projects, a 300-room luxury Taj Hotel is being developed near the Sitabuldi metro interchange by the Kukreja Group, with a INR 400 crore investment. In Civic Lines, Fair Value Hospitality is investing INR 75 crore to construct a 150-room hotel, while the Renu Group is also building a 150-room property named “Balveer Inn” with an investment of INR80 crore.
Other noteworthy developments include a ₹300 crore Hyatt Hotel along Chandrapur Road, a ₹175 crore Hilton Hotel near Nagpur Airport, and the ₹200 crore Ashoka Hotel in the Aath Rasta area. Additional projects in MIHAN, such as Apulanza and Tuli Hotels, are set to enhance the city’s status as a key destination for business and leisure travelers.
