Deep Distilleries & Breweries Private Limited, part of the Deep Group of Hotels, a hotel development company based in Lucknow, today announced the signing of a franchise agreement with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts for a new hotel development in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India under the midscale lifestyle and trendy Ramada Encore by Wyndham brand.
Lucknow is the capital and the largest city of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is located roughly in the centre of the state, on the Gomati River about 45 miles northeast of Kanpur. Having a population of 3.8 million, it is the eleventh most populous city and the twelfth-most populous urban agglomeration of India. Lucknow has always been a multicultural city that flourished as a North Indian cultural and artistic hub, and the seat of power of Nawabs in the 18th and 19th centuries. It continues to be an important centre of governance, administration, education, commerce, aerospace, finance, pharmaceuticals, technology, design, culture, tourism, music and poetry.
Lucknow, along with Agra, Varanasi and Ayodhya (only 2Hrs drive from Lucknow), is in the Uttar Pradesh Heritage Arc, a chain of survey triangulations created by the Government of Uttar Pradesh to boost tourism in the state.
The hotel sits on over 12 acres of land adjacent to Ramada Plaza by Wyndham and Ramada Hotel & Convention Centre on Kanpur Road and thus provides great connectivity to the Lucknow Airport and Kanpur city. Once operational, the hotel will have over 100+ rooms and guests will be able to enjoy some of the common facilities across all three hotels. Ramada Hotel & Convention Centre currently hosts the largest Banquet hall in the city and post the opening of Ramada Encore by Wyndham Lucknow Kanpur Road we will have over 400+ rooms in one location across three different tiers of the Ramada by Wyndham brand.
