Hyatt Hyderabad Gachibowli has appointed hospitality veteran Ruban Das as its new General Manager, effective May 2026. Bringing over 20 years of industry experience, Das joins the property with a strong background in hotel operations, business strategy and guest experience management.
Das began his hospitality career with Hyatt Hotels in 2002 as a Corporate Trainee at Hyatt Regency Kolkata and has since held leadership roles across leading global brands, including Hilton and Accor. Most recently, he served as General Manager of Hyatt Regency Chennai, where he led initiatives focused on operational excellence, profitability and service enhancement.
In his new role, Das will oversee all aspects of operations at Hyatt Hyderabad Gachibowli and drive the hotel’s growth in one of India’s fastest-growing hospitality markets. Expressing enthusiasm about the appointment, he highlighted Hyderabad’s growing prominence as a business and leisure destination and emphasized his commitment to working with the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
