In a heartening milestone, Accor and InterGlobe Hotels, in collaboration with the HOPE Foundation, celebrated the graduation of more than 170 students from the 2024–25 batch of their joint vocational education initiative. Held at Pullman New Delhi Aerocity, the graduation ceremony recognised students who completed industry-relevant training in hospitality, retail, and nursing assistance—programmes designed to equip underprivileged youth with practical, employable skills.
Launched in 2012 with the creation of the Accor Centre of HOPE, this CSR-driven initiative was further strengthened through the support of InterGlobe Hotels and the InterGlobe Foundation. Since its inception, the programme has empowered over 1,000 young individuals, offering them skill-based education and nationally recognised certificationsthat enhance their career opportunities in high-demand sectors.
The comprehensive curriculum combines classroom instruction with hands-on training, giving students a real-world understanding of service-oriented industries. Whether learning front office operations, retail customer service, or basic patient care, students gain confidence, competence, and a path to financial independence.

A key part of the programme’s success has been the Nursing Assistant Training, launched in 2019 to meet India’s growing need for healthcare support staff. The six-month course blends three months of classroom instruction with three months of clinical training, and is certified by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). To date, over 455 students have graduated from the nursing programme, with more than 355 placed in hospitals across the country.
