The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) has recommended the suspension of the FSSAI licence of Platform 65, located at PNR Empire in Kukatpally, after identifying serious food safety and hygiene violations during an inspection on Monday.
According to officials, the restaurant scored just 40 out of 110 marks, indicating 37% compliance. The inspection found the presence of rats inside the premises, along with clogged and poorly maintained drainage systems containing food waste.
Authorities also reported improper storage practices, including stale food kept in freezers, inadequate freezer maintenance, and uncovered food items, raising concerns over hygiene standards and public health safety.
