DŌAAB India Craft Whisky has secured its place on the global stage by being named India Whisky of the Year 2025 at the Berlin International Spirits Competition. With a stunning score of 95 points and a Gold medal, this achievement highlights India’s growing prominence in the world of fine whisky.
The brand’s debut expression, 01 Six Blind Men and the Elephant, is a testament to its mastery of blending tradition with innovation. Crafted in limited quantities—only 500 casks—the single malt is aged in 100% ex-bourbon barrels, delivering a multi-dimensional flavor experience. On the nose, tropical fruits, honey, and vanilla harmonize with hints of toffee and charred oak. The palate reveals warm spices, toasted almonds, and nutty barley malts, culminating in a smooth finish of vanilla and coconut.
Adding to its accolades, DŌAAB claimed Silver at the International Spirits Challenge 2025 in London and Bronze at the London Spirits Competition. Nationally, it has also been recognized as the Indian Single Malt Whisky of the Year 2025.
Mr. Shekhar Swarup, Joint Managing Director, Globus Spirits Ltd., stated, “DŌAAB’s success reflects India’s evolving whisky identity. To win such prestigious awards reinforces our commitment to crafting world-class whiskies that honor our heritage and push global boundaries.”
