The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, has announced the signing of a Gateway hotel in McLeodganj, Himachal Pradesh. This brownfield project aligns with IHCL’s strategy to expand in key leisure destinations across the state, including Shimla, Manali, and Dharamshala.
Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, stated, “McLeodganj, with its cultural richness, is attracting both domestic and international tourists. We are delighted to partner with Mcleo Times Square for this project.”
The 65-key Gateway McLeodganj will be located near the Dalai Lama Temple and Namgyal Monastery, offering easy access to the bustling market. The property, perched on a cliff, provides panoramic views of valleys and snow-capped peaks. Amenities include an all-day dining restaurant, bar, meeting rooms, fitness center, and spa.
Rahul Pathania of Mcleo Times Square remarked, “This collaboration will offer guests an authentic yet contemporary hospitality experience in this vibrant destination.”
With this addition, IHCL strengthens its foothold in Himachal Pradesh, bringing its total count in the state to 13 hotels, with eight more under development.
