The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality group, has announced the opening of Gulab Haveli, Mandawa – IHCL SeleQtions, a meticulously restored 19th-century haveli that celebrates the timeless grandeur of Rajasthan’s Shekhawati region.
Speaking on the launch, Deepika Rao, Executive Vice President – New Businesses & Hotel Openings, IHCL, said, “Gulab Haveli, Mandawa – IHCL SeleQtions is a tribute to Rajasthan’s enduring heritage and artistic legacy. Its restoration reflects IHCL’s commitment to preserving India’s cultural landmarks while delivering refined, contemporary experiences.”
The boutique property features 17 rooms and suites, each adorned with frescoes, arched doorways, and hand-painted details that tell stories of a bygone era. The central courtyard forms the heart of the haveli, inviting guests to experience serenity under open skies. Culinary highlights include Resham, an all-day dining venue inspired by the Silk Route, and Amal, an intimate bar. Guests can also rejuvenate at the Hammam Spa or unwind by the rooftop pool terraceoverlooking the desert horizon.
Mr. Raj Verma, General Manager, added, “Gulab Haveli brings together the elegance of heritage architecture and the comfort of modern hospitality. Every detail has been crafted to offer guests an immersive sense of place.”
Nestled in Mandawa, often called India’s “open-air art gallery,” Gulab Haveli joins the SeleQtions portfolio as a living testament to IHCL’s vision of celebrating India’s storied past through experiential luxury.
