IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Circle View Estate Private Ltd for the development of voco Udaipur, a 140-key premium hotel scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2029.
The new-build property will strengthen IHG’s premium portfolio in India and expand the presence of its fastest-growing premium brand, voco, in one of the country’s leading leisure destinations.
Located on the foothills of the Aravalli hills overlooking the city, voco Udaipur will cater to both domestic and international travellers visiting the destination known for its heritage, culture and scenic appeal. The project is also expected to tap into growing demand from the weddings, meetings and events segment.
Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said India remains a strategically important market for the company and Udaipur offers strong long-term growth potential due to its popularity among leisure travellers and event organisers.
He said voco continues to attract guests with its distinctive character and premium hospitality experience while offering hotel owners the benefits of IHG’s global enterprise systems and commercial expertise.
Nakul Karnawat, Director, Circle View Estate Private Ltd, said the company is pleased to partner with IHG to introduce the voco brand in Udaipur. He expressed confidence that the hotel will emerge as a preferred choice for travellers seeking premium accommodation in the city.
The hotel will feature 140 guestrooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, meeting and event facilities, a swimming pool, fitness centre and spa.
