Marriott Bonvoy has announced the opening of Renaissance Goa, marking the debut of the Renaissance Hotels brand in Goa, one of India’s most prominent leisure destinations.
Located in the Arpora Valley, the hotel offers convenient access to North Goa’s popular beaches, including Vagator, Anjuna, and Baga, positioning it to cater to both leisure travellers and destination-led experiences.
The property features 133 guest rooms and suites, multiple food and beverage outlets, and approximately 8,000 sq ft of meeting and event space, designed to host weddings, social celebrations, and corporate gatherings.
Commenting on the launch, Roopa Singh, General Manager, Renaissance Goa, said the hotel aims to deliver an immersive brand experience rooted in local culture and design. “Our focus is on creating a Renaissance experience that feels welcoming, expressive, and deeply connected to its surroundings, allowing guests to engage meaningfully with the destination,” she said.
Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President, South Asia, Marriott International, highlighted Goa’s strategic importance within the company’s leisure expansion plans. “The Renaissance Hotels brand is driven by curiosity and the belief that travel is most rewarding when it connects guests to the unique character of a destination. Goa continues to be central to our leisure growth strategy in India, with an emphasis on neighbourhood-led experiences, innovative design, and the evolving exploration style sought by today’s travellers,” he said.
The opening of Renaissance Goa underscores Marriott International’s continued expansion of its lifestyle portfolio across India, reinforcing its focus on experiential travel in high-demand leisure markets.
