Marriott Executive Apartments Bengaluru UB City is pleased to announce the appointment of Wajeed Bagwan as General Manager. With over three decades of distinguished experience across India and the Middle East, Bagwan will lead the property’s strategic growth and operations as it strengthens its position as Bengaluru’s premier address for luxury long-stay hospitality.
Bagwan has held leadership roles with globally acclaimed hotel groups including Taj Hotels, Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, The Leela Group, Radisson Hotels & Resorts, and Oakwood Worldwide Inc. Notably, he previously led Oakwood Bangalore, the same property now transformed into Marriott Executive Apartments UB City—making his return especially significant.
A graduate of the General Manager’s Program at Cornell University, he has also served as a team leader and assessor for the Dubai Quality Award and Dubai Human Development Award, initiatives by the Government of Dubai.
