Monika Alcobev Limited, India’s only listed premium wine and spirits importer, has launched Licor 43 by Zamora Company in India, introducing the world’s fastest-growing premium liqueur to one of its most dynamic alcobev markets.
Celebrated as Spain’s top-selling liqueur, Licor 43 is crafted from a secret recipe of 43 natural ingredients including botanicals, spices, and citrus fruits. With a legacy spanning over 70 years and availability in more than 80 countries, it is known globally for its smooth, versatile taste and its signature serves — the refreshing Mini Beer and indulgent Carajillo 43.
“Bringing Licor 43 to India is a significant milestone, not just for us but for the evolving palate of Indian consumers,” said Kunal Patel, Managing Director, Monika Alcobev. “The brand is iconic, versatile, and crafted for modern mixology. We are excited to lead its debut in India.”
The Indian portfolio will feature Licor 43 Original (700ml and 1000ml), along with indulgent variants such as Licor 43 Chocolate and Licor 43 Crème Brûlée. Complementing the launch are premium spirits from Zamora Company’s global portfolio, including Martin Miller’s Gin, Villa Massa Limoncello, and Villa Massa Amaretto.
Ankit Shah, Area Director, AMEA, Zamora Company, added: “India’s premium spirits market is expanding rapidly, driven by rising incomes and premiumisation. Partnering with Monika Alcobev gives us the perfect platform to connect with discerning consumers.”
Monika Alcobev’s strong nationwide distribution, particularly across North, West, and South India, will ensure Licor 43 reaches cocktail-forward bars, premium retail, and expanding markets in the East.
Currently available in Goa and Mumbai, Licor 43 will soon roll out to additional markets.
