ONDC launches pilot project to digitise street food vendors in Delhi and Lucknow, eyes nationwide expansion

The Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) has commenced a pilot project targeting street food vendors in Delhi and Lucknow to accelerate their digital integration. With plans to onboard 500 vendors within 1-2 months, the initiative aims to foster rapid expansion. Following successful implementation, the program will scale nationwide, with a focus on enhancing demand generation through various buyer applications. Anshoo Sharma, CEO of Magicpin, emphasized the importance of this initiative in digitizing street vendors and expanding their reach to a wider consumer base.
