Oyo’s Oravel Stays to Launch 13 Premium Palette Hotels by Year End, Reviving Self-Operated Model

According to Business Standard, Oravel Stays, the parent company of Oyo, announced plans to launch 13 premium hotels under the Palette brand by the year’s end, expanding its hospitality portfolio.

This move follows a successful pilot program last year with 10 Palette resorts across various cities. Operating on a “self-operated” model akin to Oyo’s hotels, this expansion signifies a resurgence of the company’s previously discontinued model from 2020. The direct operational control of select Palette hotels in strategic locations aims to enhance guest experience and service delivery.

With Morbi’s emergence as an economic powerhouse in Gujarat, Oravel Stays is strategically launching its first self-operated Palette hotel in the region, capitalizing on the city’s growing business opportunities and increased tourist footfalls. The Morbi hotel boasts 48 spacious rooms and amenities tailored for both business and leisure travellers.

Oyo’s relaunch of self-operated hotels under the ‘Prime Partner Program’ signals a renewed focus on long-term management contracts, aligning with the company’s growth strategy amidst evolving market dynamics post-pandemic.
