Pacific Coast Feather Company to organise its first workshop on housekeeping in India

Workshop to be held at Radisson Hotel Delhi on December 15, 2009

US-based Pacific Coast Feather Company (PCFC), manufacturer of pillows, comforters, mattress pads, feather beds and sheets, will organise its first workshop at Radisson Hotel Delhi on December 15, 2009. The workshop will be organised in association with Indian Housekeepers Club (IHC), which will be addressed by Jack Chen, Regional Director, India & Gulf Market, PCFC. The day-long seminar will focus on ‘Trends and Technology in Bedding Products’ and will incorporate a case-study approach to pertinent housekeeping and purchasing department issues. No registration fee will be charged for the seminar, but interested housekeepers need to register themselves with IHC before December 5, 2009.

Speaking exclusively to Hospitality Biz, Dhirendra Sharma, India Representative, PCFC said, “We organise such educative workshops globally to impart knowledge about housekeeping products and to create awareness on housekeeping operations. This is the first time we shall be organising the workshop in India. We look forward to organise such seminars in Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad.”

G K Shrivastava, President, IHC said, “We expect around 40-50 housekeepers for the workshop. We plan to organise annual housekeepers convention in May 2010 but before the grand event, we want to organise seminars in Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida in order create awareness about housekeeping association.”
