As Navi Mumbai prepares to welcome its long-awaited international airport, global hospitality giant Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) is positioning itself at the heart of the city’s next growth chapter. The company has announced the signing of the Radisson Collection Hotel, Navi Mumbai International Airport, marking the debut of its luxury lifestyle brand in Maharashtra.
Located in Panvel, minutes from the upcoming airport, the 350-key luxury hotel is slated to open in early 2030. It will feature high-end rooms and suites, a world-class spa, rooftop bars, specialty restaurants, and expansive event spaces designed for both business and leisure travelers.
According to Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and COO for South Asia, RHG, the new property is strategically aligned with the surge in transit and corporate travel expected once the airport becomes operational. “This project not only meets the region’s growing demand for premium hospitality but also redefines what luxury means in Navi Mumbai,” he said.
The hotel will be developed in partnership with Hill Crest Hotels and Resorts Pvt Ltd, the group behind the Radisson Blu Plaza Resort & Convention Centre, Karjat. Debasish Chakraborty, Hill Crest’s CMD, noted, “This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to building destinations that capture Maharashtra’s evolving urban energy while maintaining timeless hospitality.”
With over 200 hotels in operation and development, Radisson continues to strengthen its footprint in India, where more than half its portfolio is in tier-2 and tier-3 cities. The Navi Mumbai project underscores the brand’s confidence in India’s hospitality expansion, fuelled by infrastructure growth, business travel, and rising domestic tourism.
For Radisson, the move isn’t just about a new hotel — it’s about anchoring luxury at the center of India’s fastest-emerging economic corridor.
