In a major step towards strengthening hospitality education in India, the Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) has signed an MoU with The Lalit Suri Hospitality School (TLSHS). The agreement was inked at The Lalit, New Delhi, in the presence of top leaders from both organisations.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Jyotsna Suri, Chairperson & MD, The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, and Rajan Bahadur, CEO, THSC. Also present were Jyoti Mayal, Chairperson, THSC; Keshav Suri, Executive Director, The Lalit Suri Group; and Anupam Mukherjee, Dean, TLSHS.
The partnership aims to deliver industry-aligned, inclusive skilling programs that equip youth with technical know-how, life skills, and globally recognised certifications. It focuses on employability, diversity, and creating a job-ready workforce for India’s fast-growing tourism and hospitality sectors.
Dr. Suri highlighted the shared vision of nation-building through skilling, while Bahadur emphasised the need for industry-relevant education. Keshav Suri underlined the commitment to inclusive opportunities for LGBTQIA+ and underprivileged youth.
This strategic collaboration is expected to create a strong, future-ready talent pipeline for one of India’s most people-driven industries.
