United Hospitality Management (UHM), a global leader in luxury and mixed-use hospitality, has announced its foray into the Indian market with the acquisition of the boutique hospitality brand Rosastays. This strategic move marks a pivotal milestone in UHM’s international expansion and establishes a robust platform for growth across one of the world’s fastest-evolving tourism landscapes.
The acquisition brings 17 operational Rosastays properties under the UHM umbrella, spanning prominent leisure destinations such as Goa, Kasauli, Nainital, Pushkar, and Shimla. Leveraging Rosastays’ strong owner network and loyal base of experiential travelers, UHM will begin rebranding select assets between Q4 2025 and Q1 2026.
With a development pipeline of over 700 keys—including upcoming projects in partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts under the Garner brand—UHM is poised to usher in a new era of world-class, owner-centric hospitality management across South Asia. The entry underscores the company’s long-term commitment to building scale, quality, and innovation in a region of tremendous opportunity.
Klaus Assmann, COO, United Hospitality Management – Middle East, India & Southeast Asia, said:
“India is one of the most dynamic hospitality markets globally. Our expansion represents a long-term investment in a region brimming with potential. A highly regarded hospitality leader and entrepreneurial force, Deepika Arora brings more than 20 years of experience across some of the world’s most respected hotel brands. Her expertise in brand building, operations, and asset strategy will be central to shaping UHM’s vision and differentiating its presence in India’s rapidly transforming hospitality sector.
Deepika Arora, Managing Director, United Hospitality Management – India, said:

UHM’s entry introduces global systems, a strong owner-first philosophy, and operational innovation that will accelerate value creation for our partners. Our aim is to set new benchmarks across boutique, midscale, and luxury hospitality, with India playing a pivotal role in that journey.”
