ITC Hotels has opened Storii Akanni Naina Tikkar, a boutique hotel located in Majhgaon Shamlati, Himachal Pradesh, strengthening the expansion of its niche lifestyle brand Storii by ITC Hotels. The property comprises 42 rooms and suites, positioned within pine forest cover with direct views of the Churdaar mountain range and Churdaar peaks. ITC Hotels confirmed the hotel meets brand benchmarks for experiential stays, wellness-led hospitality, and curated outdoor programming.
The offering includes open-air dining formats, signature spa and wellness modules, forest trails, outdoor picnics, starlit barbecue and activity-based itineraries. Room categories span Deluxe, Superior, Premium Rooms and Suites, all with valley-facing views. F&B venues include Cedar Spoon and Pegs & Tales, featuring regional cuisine prepared with local ingredients. The property also houses an infinity pool, K by Kaya Kalp Spa, yoga sessions, salon services, and grooming facilities.
Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels Limited, said the launch reflects ITC’s push toward culturally immersive hospitality formats. Owner Alisha Gupta noted a four-year planning cycle prior to opening. ITC Hotels stated the hotel is 90 minutes from Chandigarh airport, and near Naina Devi Temple, Dagshai, and Menri Monastery, targeting leisure travellers prioritising nature-led design and wellness-centric stays.
