Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement for a 114-key Cygnett Resort near Kainchi Dham in Nainital, Uttarakhand, expanding its presence in the state’s leisure and spiritual tourism market.
The resort is being developed in partnership with Suri Developers and will be located in the Kumaon hills, with views of the Himalayan landscape. The property is also within walking distance of Neem Karoli Baba’s ashram at Kainchi Dham, positioning it to cater to spiritual travellers as well as leisure and weekend visitors.
The resort will feature 114 keys, including luxury family cottages, along with an all-day dining restaurant, banqueting facilities, a gymnasium and swimming pool. The development is planned to cater to destination weddings, social celebrations, corporate retreats and group stays.
The property will operate under Cygnett Resort, the group’s leisure hospitality brand.
“At Cygnett, we see significant opportunity in destinations where leisure, spirituality and nature come together. Kainchi Dham holds a special place for devotees, while the wider Nainital and Kumaon region offers enduring appeal for mountain holidays and celebrations,” said Sarbendra Sarkar, Founder & Managing Director, Cygnett Hotels & Resorts.
According to the company, the partnership with Suri Developers will extend beyond the Kainchi Dham project, with the developer planning additional hospitality projects across Uttarakhand in collaboration with Cygnett Hotels & Resorts.
