The Hotel Association of India (HAI) has welcomed the government’s vision to transform Delhi into a vibrant “Entertainment Plus” hub.
K.B. Kachru, President of HAI and Chairman – South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, said the initiative would pave the way for hosting large-scale concerts, cultural festivals, and international events in the capital.
“Delhi, being both the national capital and a key gateway for domestic and international tourists, stands to gain immensely from becoming a cultural and entertainment center,” Kachru said. “This move will enhance the city’s global appeal and position it as a preferred destination.”
He added that the hotel and hospitality sector would be among the biggest beneficiaries of this initiative, as increased economic activity would create jobs and boost state revenues. HAI expressed its readiness to collaborate with the government in bringing this vision to fruition.
