CASHMIR, India’s first premium organic small-batch craft vodka from Piccadily Distilleries, has earned Gold at The Vodka Masters 2025, hosted by The Spirits Business. This milestone marks the first-ever international gold medal for an Indian organic vodka, firmly placing India on the global spirits map.
Launched in May 2025, CASHMIR is distilled from Sona Moti—a 2,000-year-old organic heritage winter wheat once on the brink of extinction. After a six-year revival, this rare grain, known as the “Golden Pearl”, now forms the soul of India’s most distinctive vodka.
CASHMIR undergoes a 7x distillation process and 5x precision filtration through carbon, mango charcoal, and platinum-gold-silver layers, before being blended with pristine Kashmir glacial water. The result: a crisp, smooth, and additive-free spirit that is 100% vegan.
Shalini Sharma, Head of Marketing, Piccadily Agro Industries, said, “Winning Gold is not just a victory for CASHMIR but for India’s craftsmanship. It proves India can rival—and surpass—the world’s best in vodka.”
With this recognition, CASHMIR signals a new era for India’s luxury spirits industry—where heritage, innovation, and authenticity converge on the global stage.
