Bira 91, one of India’s fastest-growing premium beer brands, has officially announced its re-entry into Bengaluru, reinforcing its commitment to Karnataka—one of its highest-growth markets.
The relaunch follows months of operational upgrades, including streamlined supply chain systems and the resumption of production at the company’s Mysuru brewery, aimed at delivering fresher, locally brewed beer across the state. As part of this renewed focus, Bira 91 has also partnered with a new sales and distribution partner to ensure consistent availability throughout Bengaluru’s key neighbourhoods, restaurants, and retail outlets.
“This move is more than a return—it’s a strategic leap toward market leadership in India’s beer capital,” said Nayanabhiram Deekonda, SVP, Sales, Bira 91. “Bengaluru was home to our first Taproom, and the overwhelming response from the city has reaffirmed the growing demand for fresh, flavorful beers.”
Beer lovers can now enjoy Bira 91 White, Blonde Summer Lager, and Bira 91 Boom at top bars and pubs citywide. Meanwhile, Bira 91 Taprooms in Koramangala and Kempegowda International Airport continue to innovate with weekly limited-release craft beers, live music, and a curated food menu designed to pair with the brand’s core offerings.
The Bengaluru expansion is part of Bira 91’s hybrid brewing model, leveraging both owned and partner breweries to serve high-priority markets efficiently. With a 65% CAGR since its inception, Bira 91 remains a formidable homegrown challenger in India’s competitive beer industry.
