The Hotel and Restaurant Association (Western India) (HRAWI) will host the third edition of its flagship Knowledge Series on July 15, 2026, at Fortune Miramar, Goa, a member of the ITC Hotels Group. The full-day event is aimed at helping hospitality professionals stay informed about the latest regulatory and policy developments impacting the sector.
The programme will focus on key compliance topics, including the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Rules, GST updates, and the Labour Codes, enabling hospitality leaders to better understand evolving legal and operational requirements.
Industry experts from Ernst & Young (E&Y), the official Knowledge Partner for the series, will lead the sessions. Abhijit Parab, Partner – Cybersecurity, will discuss the DPDP Act, while Akshit Saraogi, Director – Global Trade and Customs, Indirect Tax, will present the latest GST developments. Anshul Shukla, Director – Risk Consulting, will provide insights into the implementation of the Labour Codes.
The event will feature expert presentations, panel discussions and interactive Q&A sessions, offering practical guidance and best practices for compliance. It is designed for hotel owners, general managers, compliance heads, restaurateurs and senior hospitality professionals from across western India.
Following successful editions in Pune and Mumbai, HRAWI said the Knowledge Series will continue to be held across the region, encouraging hospitality stakeholders to register in advance for the Goa session.
