The Kerala Hotel General Managers Club (KHGMC) successfully hosted its Annual Meet at the Gokulam Park Convention Centre, Kochi, bringing together over 200 General Managers from three-star, four-star, five-star and luxury hotels across Kerala, making it one of the largest gatherings of hospitality leaders in the state.
Honourable Justice Devan Ramachandran, Judge of the Kerala High Court, attended the event as the Chief Guest and highlighted the significant contribution of tourism and hospitality to Kerala’s economy. He also acknowledged the resilience demonstrated by the industry in navigating various challenges over the past few years.
A major highlight of the evening was the felicitation of hospitality veterans, with General Managers who have completed 25 years of dedicated service in the industry being honoured for their leadership and long-standing contributions.
The event also featured a hospitality industry exhibition showcasing innovative products, technologies and services for the sector. The exhibition served as a valuable platform for hoteliers, suppliers and service providers to network, exchange ideas and explore new business opportunities.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Makesh V. Raj, followed by the Presidential Address by Subramaniam, President of KHGMC. V. N. Suresh Kumar, Secretary of KHGMC, highlighted the club’s activities and future initiatives, while Prakash Nair, Treasurer of KHGMC, delivered the vote of thanks.
The Annual Meet reinforced the strength, unity and professionalism of Kerala’s hospitality fraternity while celebrating excellence, collaboration and enduring contributions to the industry.
