Lee Kum Kee Sauce has expanded its India foodservice portfolio with the launch of Japanese Style Soy Sauce, strengthening its presence in the country’s rapidly growing Asian cuisine segment.
The product has been introduced in partnership with Earthling Consumer Products Pvt. Ltd., the company’s authorised and exclusive import and distribution partner for North India, and will be available to restaurants, hotels, cafés, cloud kitchens and other foodservice operators.
Naturally brewed using first-draw extraction, the soy sauce is designed to deliver balanced umami and consistency across commercial kitchens. It is suitable for a range of applications, including sushi, donburi, stir-fries, marinades, grilled meats, seafood and contemporary Asian dishes. The product contains no added MSG, is Halal-certified and is suitable for vegetarians.
The launch comes amid increasing demand for authentic Japanese and Asian cuisines across India’s hospitality and foodservice sectors, where operators are seeking premium ingredients that ensure consistency, scalability and quality.
Ashok Pandey, Associate Business Director – India & MEA at Lee Kum Kee Sauce, said India is emerging as one of the company’s key growth markets for Asian cuisine, making reliable, chef-focused ingredients increasingly important for professional kitchens.
Through its partnership with Earthling Consumer Products, Lee Kum Kee aims to strengthen distribution across the institutional foodservice segment while supporting restaurants and hotels with authentic Asian culinary solutions.
The company said all products marketed in India undergo quality assurance processes and comply with applicable Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) regulations before reaching customers.
