OONA THE OneBhagat’s experience as a mother has deeply influenced her approach to hospitality. She emphasised, “Motherhood has been the most transformative experience of my life, teaching me the values of nurturing, patience, and balance. These lessons naturally extended into my journey with OONA. I wanted to create a space that exudes warmth and elegance, much like the nurturing environment I strive to maintain at home. The attention to detail, the emphasis on creating a welcoming atmosphere, and the deep care for each guest’s experience are all reflections of the way motherhood has shaped my approach to running OONA.“

Bhagat said, “Our biggest challenges included educating the community about fine dining, overcoming perceptions of inaccessibility, and sourcing high-quality ingredients locally. We drew from our global culinary experiences to create a world-class dining environment that blends fine cuisine with cultural richness. Through innovative marketing, persistence, and strong local partnerships, we successfully introduced Ranchi to an elevated dining experience.”

Bhagat and her team pay close attention to customer preferences, ensuring that every new dish introduced resonates with their audience while maintaining the high standards OONA is known for. Rigorous quality control measures ensure that whether it’s a guest’s first visit or their fiftieth, the experience remains consistently exceptional.

OONA THE OneBhagat has ambitious plans for OONA. “OONA was born out of our deep love for Ranchi. We recognised the city’s need for a grand yet accessible fine-dining venue that could also serve as a cultural hub. Our focus is on creating even more unique and exclusive dining experiences. We’re exploring the concept of chef’s table events, where guests can enjoy a curated menu in an intimate setting, offering a closer connection to our culinary team. Collaborations with renowned chefs and brands are also on the horizon, which will bring fresh perspectives and elevate the dining experience at OONA. Additionally, we’re keen on expanding OONA’s presence beyond Ranchi, taking our vision of fine dining to other cities,” Bhagat Added.
