Radisson Goregaon indulged into festive vibe where traditional values were relived. On 12th November Radisson Goregaon celebrated Cake Mixing Ceremony at their Coffee Shop “FIRIN” with celebrities & hotel staff.
The Cake Mixing Ceremony was graced by popular actor Ashnoor Kaur, Femina Miss India Runner Up & Bigg Boss 16 Fame Manya Singh, Master Chef Akanksha Khatri & many more.
Talking about the old tradition, Radisson Goregaon General Manager Syed Iftekhar Mehdi said, “Since past few years we were not having an F&B outlet we were excited to have an F&B floor. After two years of renovation we finally achieved it. Before pandemic hit we had 180 degree a buffet restaurant. We renovated the entire second floor and came up with four outlets, Progressive Indian Cuisine Restaurant Musaafer, FIRIN an all day dine in which is open for 24hrs which was not earlier. We also have Pan Asian Restaurant Goma & Tipple Bar so we were excited. Cake mixing was the first F&B event we did in FIRIN & It was good”.
Radisson Goregaon Executive Corporate Chef Navid Akhtar said, “This was the first time we are doing cake mixing ceremony at “FIRIN” so lot of preparations were done in advance. We had to order all this ingredients which are rarely available in the market and resourced it from a very good vendor & took care of the quality. Second thing is we do a lot of preparation for it like cutting, chopping and everything even the spices has to be blended well. Roasting happens with the spices too and then we blend and keep them seperately. The liquor part is also used that’s how we go with this Preperation.
Radisson Goregaon Hotel Manager Santosh Singh reveals the idea behind FIRIN he adds, “FIRIN” is a Turkish word, In our Radisson Goregaon we didn’t had a bakery earlier but we had a space so the idea came up to make it as a 24 hrs open bakery to fulfil our customers mid night cravings. Soon we are planning to deliver “FIRIN” items at customers door step through platforms like Zomato & Swiggy”.
