Radisson Hotel Group has signed Radisson RED Mumbai InternationalAirport, a 208-key lifestyle hotel, reinforcing its expansion strategy in India’s key gateway markets. Scheduled to open by December 2026, the property will be the Group’s eighth hotel in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
Located four minutes from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, the hotel will provide convenient access to major commercial hubs, including Andheri MIDC, SEEPZ, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), and Jio World Convention Centre. The location is expected to serve a diverse mix of corporate travellers, airline crews, transit guests, and the meetings and events segment.
The project is being developed through the conversion and comprehensive renovation of an existing property under the Radisson RED brand. The hotel will feature 208 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, a deli, a swimming pool, a spa, and a fitness centre.
A key highlight of the developmentdevelopment is its over 1,000 sq. m. of meetings and events space, comprising a ballroom, banquet halls, and multiple meeting rooms, positioning the property to cater to conferences, corporate events, weddings, and social gatherings.
Commenting on the signing, Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director & COO, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, said the project aligns with the company’s strategy of expanding in high-demand, high-growth locations while strengthening its presence in Mumbai, one of India’s most important business and aviation hubs.
Davashish Srivastava, Vice President – Development, South Asia, added that the signing reflects the Group’s focus on expanding its network in strategic urban markets by introducing brands that address evolving demand across business travel, lifestyle hospitality, and the meetings and events segment.
The hotel is being developed in partnership with Lateral Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. According to Ayon Bhattacharya, Chief Operating Officer, the project aims to combine contemporary design with modern hospitality offerings to serve business travellers, transit guests, and social events.
