    In the ever-evolving hospitality landscape of Hyderabad, ITC Kohenur shines like its namesake, the legendary Kohinoor diamond.     “My journey with ITC Hotels has been nothing short of transformative,” shares Taak. “I’ve had the opportunity to serve in multiple cities and across some of the brand’s most iconic properties, each role deepening my understanding of luxury hospitality and shaping my professional outlook.”

    From the regal corridors of ITC Maurya and the grandeur of ITC Grand Bharat to the culinary legacy of ITC Grand Chola, the elegance of ITC Mughal, and the cosmopolitan vibe of Sheraton New Delhi, Taak’s career trajectory has been rich and diverse. “Each assignment presented a unique set of market dynamics, guest behaviours, and cultural nuances. It taught me to lead with empathy, innovate with intention, and adapt with agility,” he reflects.

    This multi-dimensional experience now fuels his strategic vision for ITC Kohenur—one centered on responsible luxury, operational finesse, and sustainable innovation.

    Recognised for his visionary leadership, Taak was recently awarded General Manager of the Year at the 2025 Hashtag Awards, presented during the prestigious HVS ANAROCK HOPE Conference. The accolade acknowledges his ability to blend traditional hospitality with forward-thinking strategy, all while championing eco-conscious luxury.

    Discussing the unique energy of the Hyderabad market, Taak remarks, “Hyderabad is a city of contrasts—steeped in history yet surging ahead with tech-driven growth. My aim is to position ITC Kohenur not just as a hotel but as a definitive leader in the city’s luxury hospitality space. One that sets the gold standard for sustainability, guest personalisation, and culinary excellence.”
