Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of its ninth property in Northeast India with the launch of Cygnett Park Guwahati, further cementing its presence in the region. The hotel, developed in partnership with SRKS Hospitalities Pvt. Ltd., is scheduled to open in July 2026 and will be strategically located at the Guwahati–Meghalaya border.
Positioned just 45 minutes from Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport and 15 minutes from the city centre, the 108-key hotel will cater to business travelers, leisure guests, corporate events, and destination weddings. The property will feature a rooftop specialty restaurant showcasing regional flavors, an all-day dining venue with alfresco seating, and a dedicated vegetarian outlet, all under Cygnett’s acclaimed Cygnetture culinary philosophy.
Cygnett Park Guwahati will also include 9,000 sq. ft. of banqueting and meeting spaces, a spa, gym, swimming pool, and other recreational amenities—aligning with the brand’s ethos of affordable luxury and wellness-forward hospitality.
The announcement follows Cygnett’s recent signing in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, underlining the group’s commitment to Northeast India. The company is targeting a 2,000-key footprint in the region by 2029.
