In a major boost to Ayodhya’s growing hospitality sector, developer Sonu Sonkar has announced the upcoming launch of Ramada by Wyndham Ayodhya Faizabad, a 70-room upscale hotel set to open in July 2026. The project is being developed in collaboration with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest hotel franchising company by property count.
Located in the Faizabad Industrial Area along NH 28, the hotel will serve a wide mix of travelers—religious pilgrims, domestic tourists, and business guests—visiting the rapidly developing and culturally significant region of Ayodhya.
The new hotel will offer well-appointed guest rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, meeting spaces, a fitness center, and other amenities consistent with the Ramada by Wyndham brand standards, providing guests with both comfort and international-level service.
Sonu Sonkar, Owner of the upcoming property, said “It’s an honor to bring the globally trusted Ramada brand to Ayodhya. This city is experiencing tremendous spiritual and economic growth, and our collaboration with Wyndham reflects a shared commitment to elevating the region’s hospitality offerings.”Rahool Macarius, Market Managing Director – Eurasia, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, added, “Ayodhya is becoming a key destination for spiritual and leisure travel. Our partnership with Mr. Sonkar highlights our continued expansion into culturally important and high-potential markets across India.”
This will be Wyndham’s third property in the Ayodhya region, aligning with the company’s broader strategy to grow its footprint in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, particularly those with strong religious and heritage tourism appeal.
