Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), South Asia’s largest hospitality company, has signed an agreement with Madison, the hospitality platform of Terminus Group and JV Ventures, to launch 10 new Ginger hotels across South India. The expansion, adding over 1,000 rooms, will be executed under a capital-light operating lease model.
The partnership begins with the signing of a 75-key Ginger hotel in Genome Valley, Hyderabad, the first branded property in the state’s R&D hub. Featuring Qmin, Ginger’s all-day dining concept, along with fitness and meeting facilities, the hotel will serve as a key business and collaboration hub for the industrial corridor.

The framework agreement for 10 Ginger hotels in South India reflects our belief in the region’s potential across industrial towns, pilgrimage sites, and emerging business hubs.”
South India is among India’s fastest-growing hospitality markets, with rising demand from industrial expansion, spiritual tourism, and infrastructure growth. The new Ginger portfolio will span greenfield and brownfield projects across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.
