The Oberoi Group has officially opened The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace, Khajuraho, in the presence of Dr. Mohan Yadav, Honourable Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. The inauguration underscores the restored palace’s cultural and architectural importance, adding a significant luxury landmark to the state’s tourism circuit.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Yadav said, “The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace reflects the rich heritage of Madhya Pradesh while offering world-class hospitality. It is a remarkable addition to the state’s tourism landscape.”
Arjun Oberoi, Executive Chairman of The Oberoi Group, added that the palace not only preserves regional history but also enhances travellers’ engagement with Madhya Pradesh’s cultural richness. Vikram Oberoi, CEO, highlighted the property’s potential to draw new domestic and international tourists to Khajuraho’s UNESCO-listed temples, Panna Tiger Reserve, and the larger Bundelkhand region.
Over 350 years old, The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace has been meticulously restored, offering refined rooms and suites with private terraces, heritage-inspired interiors, curated dining, and expansive gardens set against the Managad Hills.
