Indian luxury hospitality is seeing unprecedented global spotlight, with The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts emerging as one of the country’s most awarded hotel groups over the past year. The string of recognitions reflects a broader industry inflection point—where Indian identity is gaining global validation without Western compromise.
The Leela Palace Udaipur was ranked ‘Best Indian Urban Escape’ by Robb Report (2026) and later recognised as ‘Best Sustainable Hotel’ at the ULTRAs Awards 2025 in Dubai, a category voted on by 32 million+ members of GHA DISCOVERY. Condé Nast Traveller’s Readers’ Choice Awards crowned The Leela Raviz Kovalam as India’s Best Resort, with honourable mentions for Udaipur, Jaipur, and Chennai.
Its global F&B footprint also scaled sharply: ZLB23, Bengaluru, featured in Asia’s 50 Best Bars; The Library Bar, New Delhi, ranked among India’s 30 Best Bars; and iconic restaurants Megu and Le Cirque (New Delhi) listed in top national and international rankings.
Anjali Mehra, EVP – Brand & Communication, The Leela, said the awards reflect the brand’s cohesive luxury philosophy, spanning architecture, gastronomy and guest experience. The group confirmed plans to build on momentum, reinforcing Indian hospitality leadership on the global stage.
