Lemon Tree Hotels is strengthening its presence in India’s pilgrimage and religious tourism circuit with the signing of a new hotel in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The company has executed a Hotel Operation Agreement for an upcoming Lemon Tree Suites property, which will be operated by its wholly owned subsidiary, Carnation Hotels Private Limited, subject to the execution of a licence agreement.
The 228-room Lemon Tree Suites, Tirupati will cater to the city’s year-round influx of pilgrims and leisure travellers visiting the Sri Venkateswara Temple, one of the country’s most visited spiritual landmarks. The hotel will feature a restaurant, banquet and meeting facilities, along with leisure amenities including a swimming pool and spa.
Strategically located with convenient access to Tirupati International Airport and the railway station, the property reinforces Lemon Tree’s expansion strategy in high-demand pilgrimage destinations. Andhra Pradesh currently hosts six operational Lemon Tree hotels, with three more in the pipeline.
