Indian School of Hospitality (ISH) has introduced a four-year B.Sc. in Global Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership (GBEL), expanding beyond hospitality-focused programs into integrated business leadership education aligned with India’s service-led economic growth.
B.Sc. in Global Business Leadership Aligns with Service Economy
The new GBEL program is designed around this integrated view of enterprise management rather than isolated management disciplines.
Integrated Business Education for Enterprise-Level Thinking
The B.Sc. in Global Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership progresses from foundational business literacy in year one to enterprise strategy and capstone integration in the final year. Students will explore how consumer demand shapes revenue models, how operational design impacts margins, and how capital allocation drives sustainable growth.
Structured internships and applied decision-making exercises are embedded across all four years, ensuring practical exposure alongside academic rigor. The degree will be awarded by Gurugram University and operates under academic direction from Les Roches, part of the Sommet Education network.
ISH Expands Beyond Hospitality into Business Leadership
According to ISH leadership, the launch reflects India’s next phase of growth, where professionals must understand enterprises as interconnected systems rather than segmented functions.
By extending its liberal hospitality philosophy into broader business education, ISH strengthens its positioning within allied services and leadership development.
