Marriott International has promoted Dilpreet Singh to Vice President, Operations, South Asia & Franchise Operations, expanding his responsibilities across the company’s regional portfolio.
In his new role, Singh will oversee operations across South Asia while continuing to lead franchise operations for the region. He will continue to report to Silvio Rosenberger and Kiran Andicot.
Singh brings more than three decades of hospitality industry experience spanning hotel operations, food and beverage management, pre-openings and regional leadership roles.
He joined Marriott International in 2015 as Director of Operations at JW Marriott Aerocity, New Delhi. He later served as General Manager of JW Marriott Chandigarh before moving to the company’s area operations team in 2018.
Most recently, Singh held the position of Senior Director of Operations for North India, Nepal & Bhutan, and Franchise Operations, where he was responsible for driving operational performance and supporting hotel owners across the region.
During his tenure with Marriott, Singh has developed strong relationships with ownership groups and hotel leadership teams while contributing to operational excellence across the company’s portfolio in South Asia.
Before joining Marriott, Singh spent more than 19 years with The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), where he held leadership positions across food and beverage, catering and hotel operations. His previous assignments included serving as General Manager of Taj Gateway Resort, Dumdama.
Marriott said the promotion reflects its commitment to strengthening operational leadership and ensuring continuity as the company continues to expand its presence across South Asia.
Theappointment comes as Marriott International continues to grow its managed and franchised hotel portfolio across key markets in the region, supported by increasing demand for branded hospitality assets and expanding travel activity.
